Winter golf league questions

What is a winter golf league?

A season-long competition that keeps golf competitive from October to March. In The Winter 8 every 18-hole round you submit can count, and your best 8 Stableford scores make up your season total.

Can I play at my own golf course?

Yes. You play your normal winter golf wherever you are, upload your signed scorecard, and your score goes on one worldwide leaderboard.

Do I need an official handicap?

No. Golfers without an official handicap play off a fixed League Handicap of 24 under the same scoring rules. With a handicap certificate you play off your own.

How much does it cost and what can I win?

Entry is £20 for the whole season and the full entry fee goes into the prize pot. The top 5 split it 50%, 25%, 12.5%, 7.5% and 5%. Play 8+ approved rounds to qualify.

How do you stop cheating?

Every scorecard is checked before it counts, and a round of 40+ points cuts your League Handicap by 5%, so sandbagging doesn't pay.
